Walk 15k for Ukrainian Firefighters, 15 March 2022
During the chaos of conflict, you will always find firefighters who stay within the war zone, not to engage in battle, but to protect lives and property. Fire-fighters in Ukraine are on the front line of this crisis. They need your help

Story

"During the chaos of conflict, you will always find firefighters who stay within the war zone, not to engage in battle, but to protect lives and property. Fire-fighters in Ukraine are currently on the front line of this crisis, trying to protect their communities in the most difficult of situations. However, they are in desperate need of equipment to better protect themselves and their communities. FIRE AID and International Development has been working in Ukraine since 2012 alongside the Ukrainian Emergency Services. During this time, they have delivered 11 modern fire appliances, over 4,000 sets of fire-fighting PPE and other essential firefighting equipment, which during 2020 alone rescued over 300 people."

We hope to add to the cause by walking 15km on  31st March at 12:00 midday along the river Mole valley from SFRS HQ.   Please support the firefighters with a donation and join us for the walk.

Go on - it's not that far!
