The Sewell family have been deeply affected by Alzheimer's when our home maker,wife and mother began living with dementia. All our lives have been changed. Throughout the terrible advance of this illness we have been supported by the Bedfordshire Branch of the Alzheimer's Society, the help and activities they arrange; the Carers Rest, Music for Memory Group, relief carers, help and advice but above all their friendship and support. It is for all those living with dementia and their carers that we are raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society Bedfordshire Branch so that this care and help can continue for all.

The active members of the family have now just run a half marathon near Lugano,Switzerland (where one member lives) to help raise funds so this work can continue for Leonie and all the other Alzheimer's sufferers who so rely on this support. This is, perhaps, the last occasions our whole family will be together.
