The Fisher Charity Cycle Challenge takes place again this year on Monday 25th May (bank holiday Monday). Following the success of last year's event which raised over £7800 we plan to make our 2015 Cycle even bigger & better!
This year the cycle event will consist of three optional cycle routes - 30, 50 & 75 Miles and is open again to all ages and abilities.
Have a look on our Facebook page for all up to date info, maps & further details: https://www.facebook.com/FisherEngineeringCycleChallenge?ref=hl
This year, following some staff nominatons, three worthy charities were chosen;
- TinyLife : Northern Ireland's premature and vulnerable baby charity dedicated to reducing premature birth, illness, disability and death in babies.
- The Regional Neonatal Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast : Royal Jubilee Maternity Services (RJMS) is the regional neonatal unit for Northern Ireland. The 33 bedded unit looks after intensive care, high dependency and special care babies.
- The Northern Ireland Hospice : a local charity caring for local people, the Northern Ireland Hospice provides specialist care to children, young people and adults with life-limiting illness. Their aim is to provide the best quality of life for patients and their families in Hospice and in the community.
We have set up online donation pages for both TinyLife & The Northern Ireland Hospice.
The Regional Neonatal unit at RVH, Belfast does not have online donation but will be presented with a cheque after the event. If you would like to donate to the Regional Neonatal Unit at RVH specifically please contact Jenny Byers at Severfield (NI) ON 02866388521 or jenny.byers@severfield.com.
Sponsorship forms are also available for anyone who would like to raise some extra funds.
