Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the Equiniti - Seven Deadly Spins page!
We are an ordinary group of extraordinary people trying to raise as much
money as possible for Kingston Hospital. The NHS remains a stretched
service and by supporting the hospital charity they are able to support
projects which enhance patient care and support their staff. This can be
anything from a training course for a midwife to a bespoke riser
recliner chair for their elderly care wards - every penny counts so
please give what you can.
A little bit about #Team7DeadlySpins (in their own words):
- Dominic Batstone: The obesity told me to do it!
- Sheri-Lee Brown: I had previously done a 6 hour ride around Yorkshire after a period of very little exercise and after a gap of around 10 years of no cycling. I was unfit and unprepared for how tough it was and had a terrible time, having vowed to never cycle again! After moving offices and a growing concern for the environment, I decided an easy way to achieve multiple benefits would be to *try* to cycle again (even though this instilled a lot of fear in me after the experience in Yorkshire). I slowly got fitter and more passionate, and thought it would be interesting to give the challenge a go again now that I am a little more prepared. I know what I will be in for but I love the idea of the challenge and am grateful to have the support of the people that I work with.
- Chris Coombs: No comment!
- Russell Lyness: I feel I had no choice.. Peter told me I had to do it
- Peter Motis: I have to try this once in my life and see if I can complete this challenge. I am a runner and a footballer and this is a real challenge to push my abilities on a bike.
- Deven Parmar: Peter insisted I do the ride 100
- Kristi Schlenk: Bullied by Peter to do Ride 100 :)
