Story

Thanks for clicking through to find out some more information.

I have am a patron of St Luke Hospice in Sheffield and from time to time I will be trying to do things to raise some money for a charity that helps people at the end of their life.  For more info check out their site  http://www.stlukeshospice.org.uk

I have set myself the ambition of doing a series of challenges to raise funds to keep the hospice going.

The first I am taking on, is the Sheffield 1/2 marathon. I have not run since cross country at school and in July I tipped the scales at almost 21 stone, I have lost some weight during my training, but getting through those 13 miles will be a huge challenge for me.

Every pound I raise goes straight to the charity so please give generously.  I have no idea how much I can raise but it will be worth it for two hours of discomfort
