Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have decided (at the very last minute) to take part in a 180km cycle from Hackney to Suffolk. It's an overnight cycle starting at 7pm and ending around 6am.
Millions of people are affected by cancer, and the work that MacMillan do reminds us that the effects of cancer are not just medical, and affect more than just the patient. We all know someone who has or is fighting the battle, someone who sadly did not win their battle and someone who has come through it and continues to fight everyday.
I myself, know of someone in each category, and on Sat 4th July I will ride for each and every one of them, their families and all those I don't know who have fought or are fighting.
My wonderful friend Mevsim lost her inspirational sister Morgul very recently to this awful disease. Morgul was a true fighter, and unfortunately, she lost her battle too soon, but her beautiful brave family will keep her memory alive, and fight for all sufferers for years to come. Rest in peace Morgul, this one is for you!! And once more, I'm sorry about bouncing you off the bouncy castle! :)
Please give anything you can, no amount is too small! It's a fantastic cause and I am honoured to ride for them! You can donate before, during and after the race so if you're not confident I'll make it to the end I can call you from the finish line and remind you to dig deep!!! ;P
