Story
RadioSEGA are back with a brand new SEGATHON, and it's better than ever!
After our first fundraiser raised nearly £750 for BBC's Children in Need, we started working on one which would be bigger and better. We also started thinking about a charity who would really appreciate our efforts.
Cancer Research UK is a charity which I hold very close to my heart, and one which I have no hesitations in supporting. The work they're doing in researching cancer and pioneering new drugs is very important, and if it means that less families have to go through what mine has, then all the better.
As with the 2011 SEGATHON, we'll once again be broadcasting a 24 hour livestream, which you can tune into via http://bit.ly/radiosega from 10pm UK Time on Saturday, May 4th. You can also check out http://www.radiosega.net for all the news on other bits and bobs we'll be doing during the stream.
I really hope that you join with me in raising money for a charity where every penny is vital in aiding the fight against cancer. Thank you.
