Story
S.E.E.D. March is a project started by students and staff at the University of Northampton in 2017 to raise money for our local MIND charity.
The plan is to commit to do Some Exercise Every Day in March while posting 31 photos with the hashtag #seedmarch that reflect what makes you happy. The period of the year from January to March is one where many people experience a dip in mood, or find that mental health challenges return to them. MIND is a organisation that offers support to those facing challenges with their mental health.
Exercise and doing things for others are two things that can help lift mood and improve mental health. So by doing some exercise every day, no matter how small, and by raising money for MIND, we can help make things better for ourselves and others.
