21 Challenges in 2021

The plan - 21 challenges in 2021 raising over £2021 covering over 2021miles.
In November 2020 I lost my best friend to Leukaemia following complications from a stem cell treatment. I can't put in to words how much we all miss him.
Rory was such a chilled out bloke, he took everything in his stride and was naturally able at anything he turned his attention to. As children we would spend hours playing in the park, crouching round a tv eating pizza, playing FIFA or getting up to various bits of mischief...Normally instigated by me I might add!
We both left the North-West for university and ended up in London as young professionals, where we enjoyed lots of time getting to know the pubs across the city and losing balls on the golf course.
Around 40,000 people are diagnosed with blood cancer every year. It is the fifth most common type of cancer in the UK. Having lost Rory last year, and seeing a friend battle Myeloma recently has spurred me on to do anything I can to support Blood Cancer UK.
I thought a lot about how I could do this and decided that I wanted to take part in a series of challenges to raise money. 21 challenges across the year 2021 aiming to raise over £2021 and covering at least 2021miles. I feel these challenges and activities were things Rory was interested in, and that we had talked about doing together.
With COVID still lingering some of these have been moved around but hesitate not, 21 will be done! These will range from hiking challenges, a 21 hour Bakeathon, triathlons, half marathons and kayaking the Jurassic coast to name but a few, with some friends helping me along the way!
Now, to where you come in. I would love for you to sponsor me in these challenges in order to help keep funding for research and support for those affected.
Your support means a lot, so please donate as much as you can to help. I'll update this page with up and coming events as well as updates on completed events.
