Winchester College JCA Football Team 500KM Challenge, 7 May 2020
We are calling on the Great British public to help us raise funds to help our older people in this time of national crisis.

Story

Age UK needs your help to support older people during the coronavirus outbreak. We are seeing unprecedented demand for their services and expect this to continue to grow over the coming weeks and months. Age UK are working hard to ensure that vital information, advice and befriending services can continue to safely help the older people who are reaching out to us during these deeply worrying times. This is a time of great anxiety for everyone, but especially for older people and their loved ones. Age UK is determined to be there for older people who need our help and especially for those who have no one else to turn to. By donating to Age UK, you will help to reach the older people that need us most.

On May 9th, the entirety of our team will be running a combined 500KM over the course of a week in efforts to raise money for this great cause. The aforementioned sum will be immediately transferred to Age UK and subsequently be used to help older, more vulnerable people at this incredibly difficult time.

Runners:

HJW Barnes, GWH Batt, SFT Del-Mar, SPA Fennell, BCM Hutt, CG Mackay, CW Hall, JFC Pascoe, WJ La Fontaine Jackson, FT Van-Every, AT Oshai, L Ryan, FE Brant
