I am fundraising for Katherine house hospice and in memory of a dear friend and colleague who passed away this year after his long battle with cancer. He was like a grandfather to me and was a true gentleman to all he met. This man was Steve Bell. The reason I have picked this particular charity is because Steve saw out his last few months at Katherine house and when I went to see him the care the staff gave and the support they gave to the family and friends was truly amazing and inspirational. Katharine house is a charity run company and for the service they gave to my friend and all the many other people who were there and are now the least I can do to honour my friend and those who helped him see out the rest of his days in such a peaceful and calming loving environment is to put on my gloves once again and battle and fight to help others like Steve and keep wonderful places such as these open.with all your support I’m hoping I can reach my target or even smash it to give Katherine house so they can keep on doing this amazing work.
