We all know that holidays can cause added financial stress, in particular for patients who are going through cancer treatment. This is an opportunity to get involved to help relieve some of that stress for patients.

We as staff and volunteers come together each holiday season to raise funds to support the cancer care services at South Shore Health. This includes increased research, compassionate care, and financial assistance.

This will be our 4th year participating in this local seasonal giving campaign. Every dollar raised goes directly to cancer patients in need in the form of a gift card that could be used to buy food, pay a bill, or help to provide holiday presents for young children. 

Any level of support for the families in need would be appreciated. We have several families already identified this year. Each of those families is enduring a very serious cancer diagnosis along with added financial stress. Giving to this cause will directly impact these families.
