Hi everyone, my name is Seán and in 2023 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain on the African continent and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

I have a real passion for outdoor activities so when I learned of this highly charitable adventure organised by the Meningitis Research Foundation in partnership with Choose A Challenge I truly could not pass by this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. 

"Your Health is Your Wealth". In saying this I want to achieve this enormous challenge of scaling to the summit of Kilimanjaro next year. Mentally and physically it will be one of the hardest activities I ever carry out in my life but I know for certain that it will be one of the most compelling, educational, and rewarding experiences that I will ever take part in.

Charities globally have been financially crippled by the Covid-19 Pandemic with more than half of surveyed Irish charities having expressed fears that they will be unable to offer services to people in need if the Pandemic is to continue the way it is going. We now live in a time where charitable work is being carried out online through social media fundraisers. 

My objective is to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the Meningitis Research Foundation by carrying out numerous activities and physical challenges over the next number of months which will be highlighted through my social media accounts.
