I've thought about who i am going to Run for for a while now and came up with a number of ideas, but then my Friend Nina got the tragic news her cancer had returned and well there was only one choice on who i was going to run for.

I asked Nina who she would like me to run for and she chose Kidney cancer UK. I have not known Nina long sadly, she is a colleague of my partners but what i have got to know is a lady that is deeply loved by many. Cancer is  bastard to put it bluntly and we have all known people who have won there battles and lost there battles, the illness is indiscriminate it doesn't matter who or what you are, what we all need to work towards is help finding a cure, but not only that help those battling it feel more comfortable and have greater support should they need it or want it.

Nina is a warrior and yes she has a battle on her hands, but what she also has is a husband that loves her dearly and a group of friends that will always be there for her.
