Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 17 October I will be walking 20km to raise money for the MS Society. My wife Lettie was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2014. I have been saying for years that I would do something to raise money to ‘fix her’ (her words) and I’ve finally signed up for something so there’s no going back now.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move think and feel. More than 130,000 people in the UK have MS.
The MS Society exists to support people with MS to live well and to fund research to stop MS for good. Their resources and support as well as their research has benefitted Lettie and myself hugely. Please consider donating to help the MS Society support more people like Lettie.
