Sean's Action Cancer Fundraising Challenge

Seán's Cuba, Vietnam, Everest Base Camp & Marathon Challenge! · 25 November 2012
Thank you for visiting my page, I have taken part in several challenges to help raise money for Action Cancer, a local charity that provides life saving services to local people. I am doing this in memory of my dad, sister & other family members who have been affected by cancer. To help support my fundraising you can donate by texting SEAN91 £5 to 70070 or click the donate button.
Over the past couple of years I've taken part in several running events like the New York, Belfast Dublin marathons, New York, Belfast, Amsterdam & many other half marathons. I've also climbed Kilimanjaro hiked to Base Camp Everest, & taken part in Action Cancer challenge exhibitions to the Grand Canyon, Tanzanian Rift Valley, Cuba, Rocky Mountains & Vietnam, as well as local challenges like the Color Run & Hell & Back, raising over £60,000 for the charity.
Cancer is a horrible disease that can impact on any one of us. Unfortunately my family has went through many personal tragedies related to cancer, with both my sister and father dying from cancer. Thousands of people in our country suffer from cancer every day, a few days of pain for me will help raise money to save people lives and prevent them from having to go through what many of our loved ones have had to go through. I take part in these challenges in honor of their memory and to try and help others fight and prevent cancer.
So thanks again for supporting my fundraising goals, I will also be running several fundraising activities over the next few months, if you'd like to help out then please let me know!
Cheers
Seán :)
