Story
On the fifth anniversary of the loss of our brother/son/father/friend, Sean, we celebrate his memory by doing something helpful and hopeful in his name.
The Grayken Center for Treatment at South Shore Health provides substance use disorder and behavioral health care that is desperately needed on the south shore. While there has been progress even just in the last five years since Sean passed, so much still needs to be done to recognize addiction as an illness in need of skilled, specialized medical treatment--and to ensure that people living with it are treated with dignity and deep compassion.
Sean was smart, musical, talented and very funny. But most of all, he was a deeply sensitive and kind person. We hope he's smiling on our small gesture to help out others.
