We work throughout the world helping to improve the lives of donkeys and mules

Story

I am running for The Donkey Sancuary Birmingham because  , as a child I took part in the Donkey Sanctuary's life changing riding therapy to help me to cope with my Developmental Dyspraxia.  This improved my social skills, hand-eye coordination and most of all overall confidence.

I am 18 now and I am privaliged enough to work with some truly amazing people and animals alike , on a daily basis.

The sanctuary took me on as a part time groom in 2011.   This was the  result of two years dedicated volunteer  work.

I want to raise funds for the sanctuary so we as a charity,  can continue our life changing work with both animals and special needs children.

It's the highest  honour to wear the badge I wear three days a week , the badge  follows me everywhere even when I'm not wearing it, without the sanctuary,  I  ask myself one simple question , where would I be today without them?
