On the 9th July 2011 I will be taking part in a tandem skydive 10000ft above the cornish cliffs, hopefully coming down somewhere near Perranporth rather than in the Atlantic.

The reason for this is simple, my store team (I am a manager for Homebase) and myself want to raise as much money as possible to support this worthwhile cause, the Teenage Cancer Trust.  All the money raised from our efforts will be put towards building new centres to enable teenagers to be treated like teenagers rather than children.  Any teenager wants to be treated this way regardless of if they have an illness or not, the sad fact in the UK is that most teenager cancer patients currently have to be treated in children's wards.  The TCT purpose builds fantastic centres geared towards the teens and gives them a more stimulating, respectful environment.  Check out the TCT website or more information on what they do and please donate.
