Story
In August this year I will turn 50 (hard to believe I know..) and have decided to take on a year of challenges to celebrate.
On the 24th February I am running the Thorpe Half Marathon followed by the Vitality Big Half Marathon on the 10th March. Both of these events will help me prepare for the London Marathon which I will run on the 28th April after finally securing a place through the ballot.
On May 22nd I will take part in a freefall abseil from the ArcelorMittal Orbit in the Olympic Park and am currently seeking activities in June and July.
August will be a quite month as I recharge my batteries before cycling 280 miles in 3 days from London to Bruges in September. I will complete my birthday year challenges at the end of September with a 50km trek along the North downs from Farnham to Reigate with my wife Sian and a few friends.
Please give what you can to help keep me motivated as I train for these activities and to help Action for A-T in their quest to find a cure or therapy for Ataxia Telangiectasia.
