On the 9th September 2012, a group of fantastic people are going to cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh in memory of the even more fantastic Ian Porter. Ian passed away last year on the 8th September after a truely well faught battle with bastard cancer. We all thought it perfect that this cycle (which Ian completed two years ago, 10 days after receiving chemotherapy on a fixed gear bike) was the day after the anniversary of his death. We are raising money for the wonderful Maggie's Centre, which played such an important and vital role, in keeping Ian's spirits and dreams alive throughout the three years he was ill. Our team consists of Ian's friends, his family, his beautiful talented fiance (who obviously didn't write this) and his (almost) family in law. A big group of people who miss him so very much and will hopefully do him proud on the day! Many thanks for all your donations, I can tell you that even the smallest amount will make such a difference to those currently battling cancer.
