Story
On 8th August 21, two of my lads (Dan and Ben) alongside myself and six other family members will be attempting to trek 26 miles through the Lake District in memory of my Dad, Bernard Powell.
We lost dad in April 20 at the height of the pandemic and before he was diagnosed we had no idea how much Alzheimer’s would take from him, his family and his friends.
It is a cruel, brutal disease and the UK’s biggest killer. That’s why we want to support the fantastic work the Alzheimer’s Society does campaigning for change, funding research to find a cure and supporting people living with dementia today.
We do hope that you are able to help us raise funds for such a good cause and all donations will be gratefully received.
