Cerebral Palsy Sport is recognised as a National Disability Sport Organisation & exists to provide as many opportunities as possible for people with cerebral palsy to be physically active & enjoy great physical & emotional wellbeing, no matter their age, their circumstances or where they live.

Story

Our mission is to improve quality of life for people with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities through sport, physical activity and active recreation.

Following the sad passing of Juliette Martine Grooms (Julie), on the 10 January this year, I thought it only fitting that I should run for CP Sport.

All of her friends and family were devastated by the news and miss her greatly.  She dealt with her affliction of cerebral palsy bravely, and with a smile.  Her laugh was infectious which would light up a room.

There's not a week that goes by that I don't look back and smile.  I remember meeting her not long after Lisa and I met back in 2001.  She was a unique individual.

Please donate what you can and I'll keep you updated with my training.
