Cardiff Half Marathon 2022 · 27 March 2022 ·

Welcome to our #TeamDementiaUK campaign for the Cardiff Half Marathon 2021. We have a huge team of amazing supporters who will be stepping over the iconic Welsh start line this March - all to support Dementia UK and our wonderful Admiral Nurses.

Story

Hello all and welcome to my fundraising page!

I am taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon this year to raise money for Dementia UK.

Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them, giving them compassionate one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions that can be difficult to find elsewhere.

Dementia is an illness that is extremely close to my heart. Dementia not only affects those suffering with the condition but it has a huge impact on families caring for their loved one. Each day brings new and different challenges and those caring for someone suffering with Dementia need access to support to help guide them through those challenges. Dementia UK provides that support so I would be extremely grateful if you could spare some spare money - no matter how small - to donate to this important cause.
