Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A group of us, (Joseph Fogarty, Geoff Hill, Clodagh Loughrey, Seamus McAleer, Colin Rodgers, Larry Sheeran, Betty Stephens, David Stewart, Mairead Stewart, Graham Sunderland, Leslee Sunderland),  who value the excellent work of the Friends of the Cancer Centre, want to put something back in.  We came up with a mad scheme to cycle the entire  length of the Border around Nothern Ireland, while we still can, before it hardens? Doing 440km in 5 days from 12th to16th August 2019.

As an Oncologist, I am grateful that Friends have helped fund precious staff and equipment for our service and patients, including massive support for Clinical Trials, whicvh bring novel and better treatment options to our patients. Our cyclists include patients and staff, who really value the role of the Friends.
