Story
Hello,
I've seen many friends and a lover pass from AIDS since 1983. I was a long-term HIV positive non-progressor for 30 years and have only recently started taking medication. The reason for this is that I looked into having a child via surrogacy and was advised that I had to have an undetectable viral load for at least 6 months in order to become a parent.
Today, we are not considered 'outcasts' as we were by many in the '80s. Wonderful organisations, like Bobby Goldsmith, are doing their very best to educate people about HIV/AIDS and provide a service to those who have HIV/AIDS.
My "High Tea for HIV" on April 9 is one way we can share our stories, meet people who are also HIV positive and those who support us and enjoy great views of the harbour at the same time. Our donations will help the Bobby Goldsmith organisation to continue their incredible work.
SATURDAY, APRIL 9, 2016 - 2:30PM 'TIL 5:00PM
There is a $50 donation which can be paid online or at the door. All donations are tax deductible.
Please RSVP to my email address below as soon as possible if you would like to come along, because of numbers, or if you have any questions.
I look forward to meeting you!
Best wishes,
Craig
