Ukraine has faced almost eight years of conflict. With recent events, we want to be there for everyone who needs us

Story

Due to the current conflict situation and the humanitarian crisis taking place in Ukraine, the members of SDCA were compelled to express solidarity and to take action.

We have created this page for members of SDCA to easily donate to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal organised by the British Red Cross. This will support people on the ground with medical aid, food, clothing and shelter. Give whatever you can - a little or a lot, it all helps.

If you feel more comfortable donating physical goods, we would like to inform you that the Polish Social club and the Polish shop in Loughborough are collecting necessities for Ukrainian refugees in Poland.

They invite people to donate the following: towel, blankets, thermal blankets, first aid kit, hygiene products, underwear, batteries and torches.

Collection take place every day at:
- Polish Shop ‘Wisla’, Pinfold Gate, LE11 1BG
- Savannah Shop, Church Gate, LE11 1UE

And on Sunday 06.03.2022 after 4pm at:
- Polish Social Club, True Lovers Walk, LE11 1BG

For further information please contact the Polish Social Club on
