Story
We are making and selling scrunchies in memory of Sarah Everard, to raise money for Welsh Women's Aid. This is in light of the cancellation of the vigil in Cardiff, organised in her memory.
188 women were killed in England and Wales between April 2019 and March 2020. This project is in support of all victims of gendered violence and harassment.
Sarah's murder has fed into every woman's worst fear. Welsh Women's Aid believes everyone has the right to be safe, and live fear free.
The minimum donation is £5 per scrunchie, though we are trying to raise as much as possible so please give what you can!
We will be delivering the scrunchies around Cardiff in a socially distanced, mask-wearing fashion! Deliveries will be arranged via email at MayerE@cardiff.ac.uk.
If you need your scrunchie posted, please email me to organise this, but there will be a small charge to cover postage.
