We provide rural mental health support to improve wellbeing & prevent suicide

Story

Patrick Joice, the driving force behind the NFU Poultry Industry Programme, raised much needed awareness and funds for YANA, who provide mental health support for those involved in farming and other rural businesses affected by stress and depression.

In Patrick's memory we are completing a mammoth challenge to raise awareness of rural mental health and vital funds for YANA by completing a 130 mile egg and spoon relay race from Norfolk to Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, arriving (hopefully) in time for the Pig and Poultry Fair on the 10th May 2022.

We would be very grateful for any donation however big or small to help us tick off the miles as we walk and run across the country and would like to say a big thank you from everyone who's taking part in the challenge for your support.

A bit more about YANA....

YANA provides confidential support. A call to the helpline (0300 323 0400) can result in fast track access to free counselling with professional counsellors who understand rural life. YANA builds understanding of mental health, providing the support and confidence to start conversations to help those who are in need. YANA invests in Mental Health First Aid training in order to get MH first aiders into every sector of the industry. Find out more about YANA here: https://www.yanahelp.org/
