Story
Our son, Kit, recently had open heart surgery at Birmingham Children's Hospital. The surgery was more challenging than anyone anticipated and he ended up on life support for 3 days. Thanks to the care, dedication and expertise of all of the staff at BCH he is making a good recovery and we are now enjoying smiles and cuddles at home.
We want to raise as much money as we can for BCH to enable them to continue to invest in cutting edge medicine to help other sick children and to help fund the vital support provided to families to help them through some of the hardest times of their lives.
We are planning to run the Great Birmingham 10k, the Two Castles Run and Stratford's Big 10k (Andy might be pushing Kit around some of these courses)!
