Story
Bonjourno everbody,
Assuming random people aren't sponsoring me then everyone should already know something about me but in case you don't...
I am 22, blonde and roll round like a christmas pudding most of the time!
Just kidding...I am fairly active and hit the gym when I can. I generally try to run twice a week to keep fit and to make up for all the food I eat.
I will be graduating as a Chiropractor in 3 years time and seeing as I will be preaching to clients about healthy living, diets and excerise its seems somewhat hypercritical if I have a 52" waist!
I am hoping this is a warm up event for the London Marathon. I have applied for the next one in April 2011 for which I hope to be selected and this event seems a good starting point.
The Great South Run is in Portsmouth on Sunday 24th October incase anyone would like to have a day out and go shopping whilst I jog for a while. The race is 10 miles long on a flat surface so it shouldn't be too tricky.
The page asked me for a fundraising target and I really don't have one in mind...I didn't even realise I had many friends until I checked with Facebook!
Jokes aside, this is for a really good cause. 2 million people in th UK are living with cancer with around 300,000 new cases diagnosed each year. Macmillan aims to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer not just financially but emotionally aswell.
£10 could buy 20 copies of 'The Cancer Guide'
£68 could run a small Macmillan Information and Support centre for an hour
£156 could run Cancerline for an hour
£350 could pay for a much-needed convalscent break for someone with cancer and their carer
And here is the bit about your donation,
