Our food bank is run 100% by volunteers, and we rely solely on generous donations in order to run it. During COVID-19, we did get some support from funds, however, we are back to relying on the goodwill of our amazing communities who are always willing to help and support us in a time of need. We mostly have non-perishable items, however, we do like to give fresh items as and when possible. With your kind donations, we are hoping to be able to do this more often. Everyone assumed that once COVID-19 was over, we could all just get back to how things were before. Sadly, this is not the case; we have had a huge increase of people who are in need of food from our food bank. This situation has put a huge strain on our service, especially as we are heavily reliant on food donations.
