Story

Dale here with a update on how Scott did.. he's far too modest to shout about his fantastic achievement himself!!

He finished in 5 hours 52 minutes, which is an amazing time!!!!

Scott admits, that he wouldn't have got round without everyone's fantastic support and sponsorship.

His exact times were:

1.2 mile Swim - in 42.05 minutes

Transition period of 7.07 minutes (apparently fitted in a sandwich in-between taking his wetsuit off and finding his bike!)

56 mile Cycle - in 3h and 9.59 minutes

Transition period of 6.17minutes (again, fitted in another sandwich before his run!)

13.1 mile Run (*half marathon) in 1h and 46.20 minutes

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page set up in memory of my brother Dizzy.

Dizzy passed away in February after a brave and hard fought battle with pneumonia. For the last two months of his life, he was lovingly cared for round the clock by the staff of Papworth's Critical Care Unit. Their devotion and kindness towards Dizzy will never be forgotten by our family.

On 2nd June, I will competing in the Outlaw Half Ironman, swimming 1.2 miles, cycling 56 miles and running 13.1 miles with Diz with me every step of the way.

So please dig deep and donate now.
