Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my justgiving page.

I have been participating in this event for over 15 years- the challenge becoming harder as the years go bye! Notice I said participating rather than competing!!!

My team of three is usually my brother Colin and good friend Gregor and me. This year, due to other comittments, they can’t manage so in their place I  am being joined by two fellow Carnethy members, Stewart Whitlie and Adrian Davis - two super-fit,finely-tuned athletes who are most definitely keen to ‘compete’ and up for the challenge.  To put things into perspective, Stuart has been eight times Scottish hill running champion, British hill running champion, twice Scottish hill running internationalist; Adrian has twice completed the Everest marathon and is past winner of the West Highland Way race...and then there’s me ... the wee bald guy who has won nowt!  Weakest link chimes a big bell!! I’m sure my team mates will do very well and I, that is wee baldy, just hopes to finish!
