Scott's page

So I had this page going last year and 16 of you donated a total of £460 which was amazing really. Last year it was all about trying to raise some money while I was attempting a fast Edinburgh Marathon, followed up with an attempt at the Bob Graham round. The first part went great, I took 44 minutes off my best marathon time, finishing on 3:01:15. But then the worst weekend's weather of the year and a big logistical problem meant I never even started the Bob Graham.
It's time for redemption...on the 28th April I'll be trying to shave those 75 seconds from my marathon time at the Manchester Marathon, then having another crack at the Bob Graham the weekend of 25-26 May. I've got to do it for all of you who sponsored me for the double last year.
If you've already sponsored me, thank you very much and no need to put any more money forward, I just wanted to let you know I was having another crack at it!
You all know about a marathon but the Bob Graham Round is a route covering 42 of the Lake District's highest peaks over 65ish miles in under 24 hours. It's a toughie and I'm going to need some good mates to help me round for sure.
The extra motivation is going to come with the knowledge that by doing all of this running I'll be raising some money for Macmillan Cancer Support who gave me, my Dad and my Mum invaluable support 13 years ago when Mum was ill.
No pressure either way to donate anything, I'm just happy to give them support somehow.
