Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running this race in memory of my much missed brother Rod. Sadly Rod lost his battle in May 2013.   Lyndsay, Laura, Paul, Andy and Geo did a fantastic job in raising so much money last year by running the 10k race.  As promised to Lorraine, Lyndsay and Laura I am continuing the fund raising they started by competing in this years 10k race, my first.  I miss him every day but have been training hard and running for his legacy.   Please donate whatever you feel you can to this worthy charity which is close to our hearts.   Neuroendocrine Carcinoid is a rare cancer and desperately needs more research and information.   I hope to raise as much as I can to support other patients and their families in their battle.   Thank you so much for your donation...Rod would be proud.
