Event: Sheen Mount Cycle to Paris, from 23 June 2023 to 24 June 2023
Raising money for our school grounds and local children's charity Momentum - a group of 50 parents are training hard on their bikes in order to cycle to Paris together over 2 days in June 2023.

Story

This June, a part of a 50-strong team of volunteers I will be clipping in to cycle a whopping 270km on a mission to raise money for our wonderful school community and for our chosen partner charity, Momentum. Using pedal power to combat state funding challenges, well be inspiring our children and securing them a great education now and tomorrow. The school is blessed with fabulous grounds, however this comes with huge associated running costs. The field has been problematic for years and the school has an ambitious project to develop this area of ground to provide all-weather sports facilities for the kids, including woodland trail areas for the school to enjoy. Our partner charity, Momentum, is a local children's charity who support families with seriously ill children. They work with local hospitals such as Kingston, to help the hospital experience for these families, provide support workers, and ultimately help people move forward in challenging times. Every contribution helps!
