Story

Update: Yesterday was run day, we have made it!! Thank you all for your donations so far, now to try and recover, the legs and hips are a bit stiff

Most people who know me know that I am not a runner, in fact probably know that I used to despise running. However, I want to prove that most people can do anything when they put their mind to it.

I have chosen to run for MNDA Plymouth because of the amazing work and support the charity providees to the unfortunate people who have MND as well as providing support to their carers and families. MND is a terrible disease that affects the nervous system in the brain and spinal cord and it gradually stops the messages that reach the muscles meaning they weaken, stiffen and waste.

A good friend of mines mum and my wife, Jenni's, grandma have unfortunately died from MND as well as many others. Jenni's grandad Terry has been raising money for MNDA Plymouth ever since, it would be an honour to help out and hopefully be able to make a difference to people who need it.

Thank you.
