I'm not quite sure how it happened but I am taking part in Strictly Northampton 2022! I know.....!! 

Training starts in September courtesy of Step by Step dance school, who for the 11th year running will be offering 8 weeks of free dance lessons as part of the training, which will culminate in a live show where we get to showcase our new skills (!) to a captive (otherwise they'd leave) audience at the Derngate Theatre in November (just typing that out has brought me out in a cold sweat!). 

In return, I have pledged to raise funds for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice, a fantastic local charity who provide specialist palliative care for people diagnosed with life-limiting conditions and their families, across Northamptonshire. Having lost my Dad to cancer I know only too well how important charities like Cynthia Spencer are, focusing on the individual's needs, and how they can help them to live their life as fully as possible. Please do check them out, they are a wonderful organisation! 

The Hospice needs to raise £3 every minute of every day to keep all of its services continuing and improving; so please make this potentially humiliating challenge worth while and help me meet my target - every penny kindly donated to this wonderful event will be truly appreciated by me and my two left feet, but more importantly by Cynthia Spencer, their patients and their families. Thanks in advance. Keep an eye on FB and IG for excruciatingly embarrassing pics......although I will need to see some money first though!
