We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Hi thank you in advance for taking the time to read my story.

I have decided to take on the challenge of walking 50km (31 miles!!!) to test my mental and physical strength by pushing myself out of my comfort zone. My legs ache after walking up the stairs so it's safe to say this certainly will be a challenge.

A charity close to my heart is the JDRF (The juvenile diabetes research foundation) who's mission is to accelerate life changing break throughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications.

I have witnessed first hand the impact this chronic disease has on individuals and their families which is why I'm hoping to raise money to fund research and aid their vision of creating a world without type 1 diabetes.

Sadly, my brother in law Jake, passed away in 2015 at the age of 19 due to type 1. I see daily just how much he is missed and how cruel life has been which is why I want to really challenge myself.

Any donation or words of encouragement will be greatly appreciated.
