Story

As part of The Flicka Foundation's mission to provide a happy and healthy home for the donkeys in our care, they have major plans to build a specialist equine hospital wing at the sanctuary. A specialist hospital facility on site will enable them to provide the very best care to the donkeys, many of whom have already suffered unimaginable mistreatment or neglect. An equine hospital in the grounds of the sanctuary will; - Provide a safe and sterile equine treatment centre - help to reduce the stress of travel for sick donkeys and save vital funds in transporting donkeys to the nearest hospital in north Cornwall - provide facilities for around the clock supervision and intensive care, and a peaceful place for animals to recover - provide a valuable resource for equine and veterinary education, for vets, and horse and donkey owners locally. Please help them raise £300,000 to provide the best care for rescued donkeys who have suffered mistreatment and donate whatever you can.
