Story
Nearly all of us will be impacted by cancer at some point in our lives.
One day the cure will be found...
To support this I have founded my own event
The rules are simple :
1.Run the year in miles before the clock strikes midnight on the 31st December of the same year with evidence.
2. Fund raise for the charity of your choice
So my quest is to RUN 2,021 miles throughout the year and raise money for the brilliant Pendleside Hospice
This is around the same distance as 78 Marathons. Now I am no ultra or distance runner I don't even have a gym membership. My hobbies are eating Pies, following Burnley & Padiham football clubs and cycling with the Worsthorne Mountain Bike Club. I have set up a Strava account to track my progress and evidence. To achieve this I am doing 60 / 70 miles per week running everyday! Please donate if you can to help the Pendleside Hospice and support me on my epic journey!
I am attempting this challenge in memory of Mark ( Hansie ) Hanson who was a keen runner and good friend to so many. Like one of our favourite albums by Pulp he was - Different Class
