I  have been wanting to get back into my running & get fitter. So when Aberdeen University gave me the chance to do a 5K for their Charity to raise funds for Maternal Health Research I thought why not. But I'm not stopping just there, I will also be doing Run Garioch 10k 3 weeks later.

From 2024, the University Of Aberdeen's team of researchers will be based alongside NHS colleagues in the new Baird Family Hospital allowing them to work together to generate the answers to important questions in maternal health and translate this into patient care. Your support will help them advance their research in areas including fertility issues, maternal nutrition & social issues, miscarriage & still birth, and post-natal complications.

I have known a few women that have had issues with getting pregnant & miscarriages including my own mother before she had me.

If a donation can help toward the research for future family's with any of the issues I am happy to do my part towards this.
