Story

Thank you for visiting the fundraising page!

I am excited to be taking on this mammoth challenge to raise funds for Macmillan to continue their invaluable support to those living with cancer. Their care touching many lives, often at times we, our families and friends need it most. Macmillan are 98% funded by voluntary donations to provide a range of emotional, practical, physical, and financial support.
Your generosity and support is massively appreciated! Any donations and page sharing really makes a difference!

This challenge will be some feat!  Consisting of 6-7 hours of continuous activity to complete 70.3 miles:

  • 1.9km open Swim 🏊‍♂️
  • 90km cycle 🚴
  •  21.2km half marathon 🏃

I will also be tackling a series of Triathlons and the Manchester Marathon (April 16th) along the way. I welcome any endurance or related advice, it goes a long way... literally!

Please keep up to date with our progress, future fundraising events and training updates leading up to September 2023!  Particularly the LIVE Strava activity tracker on this page :)

Many thanks - Scott!

*Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs. 30% of the value of the sponsorship (not including Gift Aid) that I collect will be reimbursed (up to the cost of my entry fee). This means that Macmillan receives the benefit of 70% or more of my sponsorship”. The reimbursed value put directly towards equipment, events and fundraising along the way!
