My mam was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in 2016. She is fighting it courageously, never complaining and we are all very grateful for the medical help and support she is receiving to fight this horrible disease.

Since December 1st 2016 I have been running 10k a day. I am attempting to run 1000 10ks in 1000 days to help support the fight against Ovarian Cancer.

If I can complete this challenge my final 10k will take place on Tuesday, 27 August 2019.

Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity. They work to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide much needed support to women with ovarian cancer. Any donations will help Target to improve awareness and early diagnosis, fund life saving research and provide support to those currently fighting ovarian cancer.

Currently nearly two thirds of women are diagnosed once ovarian cancer has already spread. £50 could enable 100 GP's to update their knowledge of ovarian cancer and improve early diagnosis.  £250 could pay for one day of medical research into new treatments for ovarian cancer.
