Hi! I?m taking on a Kiltwalk because we want to Sparkle for Abbie and raise funds and awareness of the amazing charity that she created. My daughter Abbie very sadly passed away in Dec 2017 from Sarcoma cancer. She left it in her wishes that we set up her charity called Abbie's Sparkle Foundation, to raise "money towards hospitals and stuff". We decided to support Children affected by cancer, age 18 and under, to put smiles on their faces during challenging times. So far Abbie has spread a Sparkle to 500 Children and has a beautiful Holiday Home near Aviemore for families to have a no cost stay, it's called Abbie's Sparkle Lodge. We know Abbie's Sparkle is far reaching and we wish to continue to help families have fun times and make magical memories. Continuing Abbie's legacy helps us as a family as we can share Abbie's story and her inspiration in the hope of helping other people make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others. Every penny I raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation.
