Hi everyone! I am joining my work colleagues at Harris Distillery on Saturday 24th April to do a Kilt Walk where we will be walking to raise funds for a Scottish Charity of our choosing. I have chosen to raise funds for the Western Isles Association for Mental Health which is a charity based in the Outer Hebrides who provide a range of services and activities and play a lead role locally in raising awareness and challenging the issues surrounding mental health.
The pandemic has taken its toll on people in so many ways. We connect with our family and friends regularly to ensure their wellbeing is protected. Many are less fortunate and are at risk of dealing with stress and anxiety alone.
Small local charities need the awareness and support so they can continue to provide such a fantastic service.
