Story

Hi
I’m taking on a Kiltwalk to raise funds for Christian Aid. At this time of year I am usually busy preparing for the Christian Aid Holy Corner Booksale. Margaret Lobban who is one of the main booksale organisers has inspired me to accompany her on her bookish walk around Edinburgh. 10 miles starting at Colinton and finishing at Morningide United Church ( the booksale church ); Our shared love of books will remind us of all the customers who look forward to our booksale every year and help us to raise vital funds for the work of Christian Aid. This year especially, the problems faced by many countries illustrate how the pandemic is only one of many life threatening challenges in their particular country.Every penny I raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. Any donation you can spare will mean the world to me and my chosen charity. Thank you!
