Story

Hi! I'm taking on a Kiltwalk to raise funds for  Denis Law Legacy Trust  (DLLT),  which runs free StreetSport programmes for young people in their local communities.

Streetsport helps to reduce instances of youth crime, anti-social behaviour; promotes health and wellbeing through physical activity.

during COVID DLLT also

(i) delivered food parcels,  food vouchers, electricity vouchers etc and have distributed them amongst many families in areas of deprivation across Aberdeen that needed them

(ii)  supported two schools HeatheryBurn Primary (Northfield) and Tullos Primary (Torry) during this time and provided over 300 hours of provision and support in these schools.

(iii) supported teachers  and parents/guardians home schooling with series of energiser videos from DLLT sport coaches' programmes

(iv)  Developed Online mental health support for young people. - https://www.denislawlegacytrust.org/streetwis

To help raise funds for the charity I am taking part in the  Virtual Kilt Walk 2021 on the weekend of 24th April hoping to complete 20 km.

Through the Tom Hunter Foundation every £10 raised will be increased to £15 for Denis Law Legacy Trust =)  I would be delighted if you would sponsor me and help to support DLLT =)

Thank you :)
