Hi! I hardly ever do these kinds of things so this is a rare request. I'm doing the Kiltwalk to support Sukie Barber and her remarkable Opportunities Zambia charity which has built four schools in rural Zambia, mostly on the back of Suki's (admittedly rather brilliant) baking and her pop-up shop in Selkirk, and Kate Copstick's equally remarkable Mama Biashara which helps the very poorest women in Kenya set up micro-businesses, saving them from all manner of grisly futures, notably FGM, sexual exploitation and abuse, forced marriage and general male on female violence. That's two of her success stories in the picture. Every penny I raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. Any donation you can spare will mean the world to the people at the end of these long chains of good will. In both cases, rest assured that EVERY PENNY goes to the end beneficiaries. The amazing women who run them take NOTHING from them - no admin fees, air-fares or anything like that. This is real grass-roots stuff. Thank you! RDS
